social problems do not always indicate a disorder. However, it is possible! Generally people with SAD tend to have trouble making eye contact, speaking loud enough for everyone to hear, speaking in general, maintaining good relationships, etc...If you think that there's a possibility you may have social phobia or something like it, then you could do some research of your own through the internet or at the library, then if you feel that you may have it still you should go to the doctor. Or maybe both at once. Its all up to you. But if its affecting your daily life you really need to get it taken care of before it gets worse! Trust me I know considering I have SAD! I hope this helps!! =]

you might do well to spend some time with a cognitive behavioral therapist if you feel your shyness is impairing your ability to enjoy your life.

Those feelings don't exactly mean you have anxiety disorders; it simply means that you're a naturally shy person. However, these feelings can lead to anxiety disorders in some circumstances, like if you're constantly forced into uncomfortable situations etc..
